Privacy notice

GurVichaar is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. You can read and explore everything without registering.

What stays on your device

Reading preferences, reading positions and Kids Academy progress are saved in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device, and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Forms

When you submit a form (learning updates, contact, Kids Academy enrolment, book notification, memories), a privacy-friendly “I’m not a robot” check (ALTCHA — no cookies, no tracking) runs in your browser; the information you enter is then processed by our hosting provider (Netlify Functions, Netlify Blobs and Netlify Forms), given a case number, and emailed to our team and to you through our email provider (Resend). For Kids Academy enrolment we ask only for a child’s first name and age, with a parent’s or guardian’s consent. Information is used only for the purpose stated on the form. You can ask us to delete your information at any time via the contact page.

Children’s privacy

The Kids Academy needs no account and collects no personal data. Progress is stored only on the device. A name typed on a certificate stays on the device and is never uploaded. Any future account features for children will require verifiable parental consent, collect only what is necessary, and never display children’s details publicly.

Analytics

No analytics are currently enabled. If privacy-respecting analytics are added, this notice will be updated first.
