Every Gurpurab, Shaheedi day, festival and Sangrand from October 2026 to December 2027, dated by the SGPC’s Nanakshahi reckoning — with the source and how sure we are for each date.
Confirmed stated for that year by the SGPC calendar (as reproduced by SikhNet) or the Government of India holiday list.
Calculated worked out by the SGPC’s fixed rule (lunar tithi at Amritsar sunrise, or the solar month). SGPC’s Samvat 559 Jantri for 2027 was not yet published — re-check nearer the day.
To be confirmed sources disagree. Follow your local Gurdwara’s announcement.

Why Sikh dates move each year
Since 2010 the SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) has used an amended Nanakshahi calendar: Sangrands follow the Bikrami solar months, and most Gurpurabs follow lunar dates (tithis), so they fall on a different Gregorian date every year. Vaisakhi, the Sahibzade Shaheedi days and Veer Bal Diwas stay nearly fixed.
Many Gurdwaras outside India follow the original 2003 Nanakshahi calendar, which fixes every date (for example Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Parkash Purab on 5 January). Where it differs, the note under each date says so. Always follow your own Gurdwara’s announcement.
