Verified · BaniDBਅਵਲਿ ਅਲਹ ਨੂਰੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਬੰਦੇ ॥ ਏਕ ਨੂਰ ਤੇ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਕਉਨ ਭਲੇ ਕੋ ਮੰਦੇ ॥੧॥
Aval alah noor upaaiaa kudarat ke sabh bande. Ek noor te sabh jag upajiaa kaun bhale ko mande.
Meaning
First the Divine created Light; from that nature all people came. From one Light the whole world arose — so who is good, and who is bad?
ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਨੂਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ; ਉਸੇ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਣੇ। ਇੱਕ ਨੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ — ਤਾਂ ਕੌਣ ਚੰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਣ ਮਾੜਾ?
